EMILIO PUCCI
1960S VELVET ROSE JACKET
A MUSEUM-QUALITY EMILIO PUCCI JACKET FROM THE LATE 1960S MADE OUT OF A VELVET COTTON, WITH THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SCREEN PRINTED PRINT IN VIBRANT COLOURS. ONE SIDE OF THE JACKET HAS A DARK BROWN BACKGROUND, AND THE OTHER SIDE HAS A BLACK BACKGROUND. THE PLACEMENT OF THE PRINT IS SO WELL THOUGHT OUT, AND THE JACKET IS PARTLY HANDMADE BY SEAMSTRESSES. IT HAS A TAILORED AND CROPED FIT, AND A COLLAR WITH NOTCHED LAPELS. THIS TYPE OF JACKET WAS OFTEN WORN WITH WIDE PALAZZO TROUSERS OR A FLOWING DRESS. IT FASTENS WITH 4 MOTHER-OF-PEARL BUTTONS AND HAS A SPARE BUTTON ON THE INSIDE. THERE ARE SOME MINOR COLOUR DISCREPANCIES AT THE ROSE, BUT THESE ARE HARDLY NOTICEABLE. CONSIDERING ITS AGE AND ITS RARITY, IT IS IN A VERY GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION.
